He is survived by: his parents, Jacob Brooks and Calista Brooks of Greenville; his brother Noah Chaney of Greenville; his grandparents, James, Ronda Brooks of Central City, Stacey Peterson of Powderly, Bernard Nelson Peterson II and Amy Peterson of Rockport, IN; his great-grandparents, Ronnie Gossett of Central City, Jackie, Evelyn Brooks of Graham and Eva Peterson of Grafton, WV; and his aunts and uncles, Alexandra, Taylor Phipps of Hopkinsville, Jacob Powers of Powderly and Zachary Peterson of Rockport, IN. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
