It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Raymond Gipson (Central City, Kentucky), who passed away on May 28, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son John Gipson, Jr.; and his former wife Ozell Gipson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gipson; his children, Gary Gipson, Joseph Gipson (Missy Harris), Patty Moran (William Jeckel), Michael Gipson, P. C. Gipson (Kay), Calvin Hobdey (Angie) and Mary Reed (Michael); his sisters, Patsy Gipson-Willis and Charlotte "Birdie" Renz; and his daughter-in-law Colleen Gipson. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
