He is survived by: his wife Madonna Williams Griffin; his sons, Jesse Griffin Jr., Terry Griffin, Richard Griffin and Chris Griffin; and his siblings, Darris Griffin, Wendell Griffin, Larry Griffin and Joann Beasley. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
