He is survived by: his wife Diane Rose Simpkins Dean; his daughters, Joyce Lavon Mitchell and Rose Francis; his grandchildren, Jessica Mitchell, Julie Greska, Mark Roe and Luke Roe; and his nephews, John Edward Dean, Randy Blackburn and Donnie Blackburn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
