He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard Divine and Rilda Whitmer Divine. He is survived by : his wife Mary Slaughter Divine; his children, Amy Divine Draper of Central City and Jeremy Divine (Megan) of Midway; his grandchildren, Alex Draper, Erin Lewis (Eli), Iris Divine and Willa Divine; his great grandchild Minerva Lewis; and his sisters, Janet Menser and Deb Divine.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church (661 Mt Pisgah Rd, Bremen, KY 42325). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church (661 Mt Pisgah Rd, Bremen, KY 42325). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Pisgah Fellowship Hall.
