It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Marshall Simpson of Central City, Kentucky, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Simpson and Annie Simpson; and his brothers, Joe Simpson and Jim Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Jean Phelps Simpson; his sons, Jeff Simpson (Kim) of Central City, Andy Simpson (Beth) of Webster, NY and Tommy Simpson of Central City; his sister Pat Vlahovich (John) of Spokane, WA; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Simpson (Kelsey), Dustin Simpson, Misty Simpson, Mathew Knight (Brianna), Meagan Frisch (Ryan), Marshall Simpson and Riley Simpson; and his great grandchildren, Karsyn, Bella, Avery, Oliver, Easton, Lawson, Dalton, Makayla and Rustan.
