She was predeceased by : her parents, Rondle Skimehorn and Betty Skimehorn; her brother Roger Skimehorn; and her parents-in-law, James and Jewel "Judy" Gossett.

She is survived by : her husband Ronnie Lee Gossett of Central City; her daughter Ronda Brooks (James) of Central City; her grandchildren, Alexandra Phipps (Taylor) of Hopkinsville and Jacob Brooks (Calista) of Greenville; and her great grandchild Noah Chaney of Greenville.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tucker Funeral Home (113 N 3rd St, Central City, KY 42330). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 2:28 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (603 Everly Brothers Blvd, Central City, KY 42330).
