He was predeceased by : his siblings, Cassy Day, Penola Gray, Claire Lee Frances, Irvin Sallee, Sherman Sallee, James Sallee, Truman Sallee, Donald Sallee and Billy Sallee; his parents, Harlan Floyd and Fannie Pearl; and his sons, Billy Ray Sallee and Bobby Joe Sallee, Jr..

He is survived by : his daughters, Josie Welborn, Jennie Carter and Jody Shelton (David); his grandchildren, Shea Davis (Barry), Terri Jo Carter, Andrew Thomas Welborn and Melissa Renee Strode (Manuel Keith); and his great grandchildren, Jake, Nolan, Sadie Rhea, Pressley Ja, Mallory and Masen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
