He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Piper and Dorothy Piper; his daughter Tosha Piper; his siblings, Barbara Troutman and Joe Piper; and his brothers-in-law, Tooter Yates, Jerry Ward and Mark Troutman.
He is survived by: his daughter Ella Graves (Travis Drake); his grandchildren, Tripp, Kacee and Boston; and his siblings, Danny Piper (Brenda), Jeff Piper (Cathy), Dee Piper (Melissa), Janice Warner (Melvin), Sueann Yates, Sheila Piper VanNaarden (Rodger), Beverly Cates (Jack), Evelyn Brooks (Jackie) and Jeannie Ward (Arthur Tapp). He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces, and nephews.
