It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Allen of Centertown, Kentucky, born in Hartford, Kentucky, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Yerkes Tinsley and Irene Westerfield Tinsley; her husband Charles A. Allen; and her sisters, Marha Faye Jones, Mona Tinsley and Charlotte Carol Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Sherrilyn Haynes (Bill) of Fayetteville, Charles Allen, Jr. of McHenry and Stephen Allen of Centertown; her grandchildren, Adam Daugherty (Chinwe) of Beaver Dam, Chris Daugherty of Cenetertown, Sarah Hedrick (Roy) of Warner Robbins, Dana Geary (Misty) of Beaver Dam and Sarah Smith (Adam) of Beaver Dam; and her sister Ima Mercedese Ward of Owensboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
