It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Cecil of Centertown, Kentucky, born in Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vincent Cecil and Elsie Mae Payne Cecil; his pet Precious; his daughter Chastity Claywell (Corey); his grandson Kodi of Taylorsville; his siblings, Donnie (Vicki), Kenny (Sheila), Marty (Phyllis) and Perry Cecil; and his nieces and nephews, Kelli Oxley (Anthony), Victoria, Emily Cecil, Teresa Embry (Fred), Chris, Brian (Laura) and Bradley Cecil (Lauren).
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital; and the Owensboro Humane Society.
