He was predeceased by: his parent Vene; his former wife Wanda Leonard Saltsman; his son Dale Saltsman; and his brother Wendell Saltsman. He is survived by: his wife Iva Lee Yates Saltsman (Wimp); his granddaughter Brittany Saltsman-Bell (Alex) of Mt. Washington; his stepchildren, Tina Bird (Darrell) of Cecilia and David Yates (Clarissa) of Cecilia; his daughter-in-law Marcella Saltsman of Lebanon Junction; his siblings, Goldie Clark of Vine Grove, Willie Saltsman (Gloria) of Radcliff and Joe Saltsman (Frankie) of Vine Grove; his stepgrandchildren, Brianna Pack (Tyler) of Elizabethtown, Brendan Bird of Elizabethtown, Luke Yates (Hannah) of Cecilia and Lori Larkin (Jake) of Bowling Green; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Riley Larkin, Reid Larkin and Jackson Pack. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, a private viewing for family will be held Monday, Nov. 2, before the service with the Rev. Ron Davis officiating.
