It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Mae Sowers of Cecilia, Kentucky, born in Benham, Kentucky, who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phil Fannin and Ollie Mae Pedigo Roberts; her sons, Phil Sowers and Joey Sowers; her sister Phyllis Lile; and her son-in-law Jim Cottrell.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Cottrell of Cecilia, Kerry Sowers of Glasgow and Steve Sowers (Lisa) of Scottsville; her grandchildren, Chance Groves (Danny) of Merry Oaks, Ben Cottrell of Louisville, Dr. Emily Cottrell of Pittsburgh, PA, Chris Isenberg of Scottsville, Andy Carver (Serena) of Cave City, Sidney Shaw (Tyler) of Glasgow, Griffin Sowers of Glasgow and Zach Sowers of Scottsville; her great grandchildren, Hunter Groves, Hayden Isenberg, Baylee Cottrell, Cole Carver, Kada Shaw and Asher Sowers; and her brother Richard Roberts of Plainfield, IN. She is also survived by one niece and several nephews.
