She was predeceased by: her husband Vernie Ray Reed Sr.; her parents, Lizzie Compton and Lewis Compton; and her siblings, Don, Ovie, Kathleen and Mary Louise.
She is survived by: her children, Vernetta Ann Wolfe (David) and Vernie Ray Reed Jr. (Trenda); her grandchildren, Leslie LeAnn Green, Ashley Nicole Brown (Brent), Kayla JoRae Goodman (Eric), Adam Ray Reed and KaAnn Recole Rainey; her great grandchildren, Gage Michael Hobbs, Gracelyn RaeAnn Goodman, Gus Newman Goodman, Max Alexander Humphrey, Joshlyn Michelle Miller, Marlee Jo Miller, Lennox Leighton Green, Kipton Travis Miller, Saylor Elaine Reed and Sofie Rae Reed; her stepgrandchildren, Ty Daniel, Colt Douglas and Josette Wolfe; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Claire Abelle, ChanceLyn Jade and Cylus Dwayne Wolfe. She is also survived by brother and sisters in laws and many other wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church (4695 Hardinsburg Rd, Cecilia, KY 42724). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family request that memorial contributions be given to an autism awareness foundation that is being started in Millie's name at the Cecilian bank or the donation box being set up in Millie's honor at the church.
