He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cecil and Generose Miller Cecil; his grandparents, George and Bertha Miller; his wife Barbara Booker Davis; his son Eddie Davis; and his grandsons, Adrian and Ledos.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Romero of St. Augustine, FL and Kandy Swanson of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Sarah Meredith (Greg), Suzie Hart (Chris), Shannon Childers (Justin), Chance Swanson, Christy Smallwood (John) and Jason Fox; his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Nathan, Carson, Madisen, Hannah, Autumn and Violet; and his great great grandchildren, Bransyn, Eliza and Celia.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be given to Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church Mission Fund.
