He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Archie Wilson Burkhead and Ella May Milburn Burkhead; his wife Barbara Jean Terry; his son Keith Burkhead (Ayten); his granddaughters, Ashley Godby (Max) and Ozge Durukan; his great grandchild Judd Godby; and his sister Artie Marie Hays. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
