He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Lyons and Bessie Sadler Lyons Goodman; his wife Annie Lyons; and his siblings, Mary Stella, Ruthie Compton, Dorothy Collins, Lorene Bohannon, Lou Ester Stevens and Raymond Goodman.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Snyder (James) of Cecilia, KY, Michael Lyons of Elizabethtown, KY and Wanda Lyons of Cecilia, KY; and his sisters, Betty McCoy of Louisville, KY and Darlene Smothers of Cecilia, KY. He is also survived by five grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
