With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Sergent of Cawood, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2024 at the age of 86. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Margaret had on those she encountered along her journey. She was predeceased by: her parents, Taft Sergent and Beulah Lee Fields Sergent; and her siblings, Clella M. Cook, Ethel M. Roop and Willard Curtis Sergent.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Sue Fox. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson Laws and Jones Funeral Home (114 S 3rd St, Harlan, KY 40831). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Fields Cemetery.
