He was predeceased by: his sister Marie Darnell Carter; and his grandmother Birdie Boyd. He is survived by: his siblings, Gracie Beasley (Ernest), Johanna Driver, Brenda Boyd, Diane Boyd, Priscilla Hayes (Kevin), Rita Boyd, Wesley Allen Boyd (Kay), Harry Boyd and Micheal Boyd (Anita); his uncle Henry (Kim); his children, Latreshia Thomas, William Lamar Boyd, Brandon Hooten and Cornelius Simmons; and his significant other Catherine Simmons. He is also survived by nieces nephews cousins and other friends.
