He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl and Bessie Settles Smith; his girlfriend Allene Rowe; his daughter Pamela Smith; and his siblings, Richard, Jimmy, Ronnie, Freddie, Donnie Smith and Jeaneen Chapman.
He is survived by: his son Tracy Smith (Mandi) of Fountain Run; his grandchildren, Bailey Smith, Chase Smith, Cole Smith and Jhett Smith; and his siblings, Roger Smith (Jennett) of Cave City and Connie Parrtett (Glenn) of Louisville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and Allene's children and grandchildren.
