She was predeceased by: her parents, Cephus Garmon and Ivera Hagan Garmon; her spouse Challman Sexton; her son Harold Wayne Sexton; her daughter-in-law Wanda Sexton; her grandsons, Gary Green, Steven Johnson and Phillip Daryl Sexton, Jr.; her great grandchild Owen Jessee; and her sisters, Vangelean Sexton and Vanetta Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Daryl Sexton of Prestonsburg, KY, Jerry Sexton (Darlene) of Cave City, Dianne Gaines (Doug) of Clarksville, TN and Elaine Thompson (Brett) of Hardyville; her grandchildren, Cassandra Hare (Kevin), Adam Gaines (Shelly), Aaron Thompson, Matt Sexton (Deanna Parsley), Andy Thompson, Karli Blackburn (Mike), Kati Jessee (Richard), Leanna Newsome (Charles) and Tabitha Foerster Wilson; her great grandchildren, Austin Honeycutt, Aleigha Hare (Kyle Hishmeh), Jordan Hare, Oakley Jessee, Adly Gaines, Ashley Gaines, Nash Blackburn, Maisyn Blackburn, Patrick Johnson, Derek Newsome, Jacob Pippin and Nealie Pippin; and her sister Alyne Froedge of Edmonton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
