He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Roy, Clara Hoium, Orville and Ruth McCauley. He is survived by: his mother Ann Marie Hoium (Eydie Mae Penn); his wife Diane McCauley of Cave City; his father Richard Orville McCauley (Loretta) of Michigan; and his goddaughter Tammy Long Crawford of Virginia.
