She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Sturgeon and Kathrine Sturgeon; and her brothers, Tony and David Sturgeon. She is survived by: her husband Michael Whitmer; her children, Charles Whitmer (Brittany), Sarah McMillan and Joshua Whitmer; her grandchildren, Katie Whitmer, Madelyn McMillan, Graesyn Jackson, Braedyn Jackson and Makenna Whitmer; and her siblings, Steve Sturgeon (Robyn), Larry Sturgeon, Danny Sturgeon (Lisa), Vonna Sturgeon, Carolyn Rhein (Bobby) and Marlene Thomas.
