He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ramey and Julia Davis Ramey; his son Kenneth Ramey; his grandson Devin Crews; and his brothers, Leon, Rondel, Robert (Bobby), Joe and Kenneth Ramey.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jessie Ramey; his daughters, Wanda Rutherford (David) of Cave City and Janet Jones (Chuck) of Cave City; his grandchildren, Aaron Ramey, Beth Taylor (Stanley), Graham Rutherford (Sarah) and Taylor Crews; and his sisters, Allison Harris (Richard) of Florida and Frances Ann Beasley of North Carolina. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
