She was predeceased by: her parents, Garvin Ballard and Bessie Smith Ballard; and her husband Garvie Laird. She is survived by: her brothers, James Garvin Ballard (Ruby), Willie Ballard and Jerry Ballard (Betty); her pet Cave; and her sister Lillie Ann Riley (Mark) of Glasgow. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
