She was predeceased by: her parents, Poynter Byrant and Adiline Powell; her husband Joseph M. Spalding, Sr.; and her siblings, Coy Howard Bryant, Elbert Frank Bryant, Dolan Bryant, Norma Jean Bryant, Kathleen Atwell and Silovine Reynolds.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Miller and Penny Holloman; and her stepsons, Joseph Spalding, Jr., Jason Spalding, Joshua Spalding and Billy Spalding. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
