She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Elmore and Vonnie Elmore (Woodcock); her husband James Abraham Wells, Jr.; her siblings, Evelyn Carnes and Franklin Elmore; and her nephews, Anthony Elmore, Kevin Elmore and Chris Hayse.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lyvon Hayes (Gary Britt) of Cave City and Joyce Ann Wells (Clifton Parsley) of Cave City; her sister Ethel Elmore of Sweeden Kentucky; her grandsons, Bobby D. Hayes (Casey) of Glasgow, Larry D. Minor (Marcie) of Bowling Green, Tyler Tapscott (Elaina) of Ohio and Joshua Tapscott of Ohio; and her great grandchildren, Cason Hayes, Jonathan, Kaili Minor, Chloe, Hayden, Mia and Steven Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Mrs. Lois Wells.
