It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Juanita Walden of Cave City, Kentucky, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Slaughter and Anice Douglas Slaughter; her husband Carl Walden; and her sister Janet Cook. She is survived by: her daughter Pam Walden Staples (James) of Cave City; her granddaughter Dana Wells of Cave City; her great grandchild Chelsey Sherfey (Dustin) of Summer Shade; her great great grandchildren, Wyatt Sherfey and Waylon Sherfey; and her sister Judy Duvall (Tom).
