He is survived by: his wife Lula Spalding; and his children, Joseph Spalding Jr., Jason Spalding, Joshua Spalding, Billy Spalding, Karen Miller and Penny Holloman. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
