Gordon Burris Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon Burris of Cave City, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. John Thomas Burris and Aner Zorader Shirley Burris; his former wife Peggy Faye Jessie Burris; and his siblings, Junior Burris, Roger Burris, Ruby Williams, Helen Jackson and Mary Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Jayne Burris; his children, Jeff Burris (Kathy), Chrissy Mansfield (Lee), Chris Burris (Steph), Rhonda Harper and Tommy Harper (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Zack Burris (Jessica), Jacob Burris (Ayla), Thomas Mansfield, Tiffany Waters (Alan), Allen Harper, Chris Clan (Ellie) and Ashley Mansfield; and his sister Elsie Jessie. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141).
