She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Pierce and Frances Pardue Pierce; her husband James Terrill Coomer; her son Doug Coomer; her granddaughter Elizabeth Pauline Coomer; her great grandchild Ethan James Coomer; and her sister Norma Jean Sexton.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Oyler of Elkton and Jim Coomer (Debra) of Bowling Green; her daughter-in-law Denise Coomer of Florence, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Megan Hill, Charlie Coomer, Seth Coomer, Matt Coomer, Daniel Coomer, Madison Coomer and James Crane; and her siblings, Glenda P. Eaton (Larry), Gary Pierce (Rita) and Don Pierce (Kay). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
