It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Karnes of Cave City, Kentucky, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jean Karnes; his parents, James Karnes and Gladys Young; his brother Ricky Karnes; and his great grandchild Camden Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Butler (Donald "Jap") and Jamie Karnes; his grandchildren, Josh McGavic, Brittany Turner (Griffin), Jeremiah Butler, Chasity Miller, Kelsey Saltsman, Alexis Yates (Wesley) and Jayden Karnes (Bailey); his great grandchildren, Savannah McGavic, Trent, Layne, Livi Turner, Jeremiah Butler Jr., Addie, Tenley Wheeler, Greyson Saltsman, Evelyn, Elena, Legend Yates and Emery Karnes; and his siblings, Kenneth Karnes (Sharon) and Theresa Hunt.
