With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. Hayes of Cave City, Kentucky, who passed away on September 20, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Anderson and Ruby Mae Sturgeon Hayes; and his sisters, Lillie Mae Hughes and Loraine Mouldon. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Hatcher Hayes; his children, Dana Kerr, Donna Hatcher (Sam) and Kevin Hayes (Emily); his grandchildren, Kimberly Hayes, Courtney Hayes, Christopher Hatcher, Jessie Hatcher, Sarah Hayes and Michelle Hatcher; his great grandchild Lakelynn Childress; and his sister Elsie Mae Hayes Hogan (Wesley). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
