He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Minor and Millie Dennison Minor; his son Michael Joe Minor; and his siblings, William Minor, John Henry Minor, George Woodford Minor, Floyd Minor, Lester Minor, Willie Fred "Robert" Minor, Florence Minor, Anna Mae Minor Gossett, Laura Minor Gossett, Geneva Minor Briggs and Ester Minor Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie Hart Minor; and his sister-in-law Beulah Minor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
