With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Louise Poynter of Cave City, Kentucky, who passed away on May 8, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie James and Hattie Doyle Gossett; her husband Roger Poynter; her children, Jennifer Naseef, Larry Poynter, Karen Wood and Cathy Poynter; and her siblings, James, Joe, Paul, Margaret Gossett, Bertha Adwell, Frances and Helen Minor.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Anita Fernandez (Fernando), Luke Poynter, Samantha Wood, Douglas Wood, Ricky Wood (Jessica), Tammy Poynter (Rick), Hattie Poynter (Blake), Donna Carrera (Bartolo), Crystal Poynter (Brian), Rebecca Harris (Jason) and Natasha Naseef; and her siblings, Douglas, Junior Gossett and Hazel Smith. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
