He was predeceased by: his father Antonio Alarcon; his children, Marcilena Alarcon and Benjamin Alarcon; and his stepchildren, Jennifer Naseef, Larry Poynter and Karen Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Poynter; his children, Rosa Alarcon of Mexico, Bertha Alarcon of Mexico, Jose Alarcon of Mexico and Ramon Alarcon of Mexico; and his stepgrandchildren, Anita Fernandez (Fernando), Luke Poynter, Samantha Wood, Douglas Wood, Ricky Wood (Jessica), Tammy Poynter (Rick), Hattie Poynter (Blake), Donna Poynter (Bartollo), Crystal Poynter (Brian), Rebecca Harris (Jason) and Natasha Naseef. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
