She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Byrd and Magdalene Eudy Byrd; and her siblings, Jenny Scott, Ruby Garmon, Susie Ennis, Emma Ballard, Mary Ballard, Ann Honeycutt, Betty Stephens, Lou Wilson, Harold Byrd, Tommy Byrd, Don Byrd, Bud Byrd and James Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Jessie (Loretta) and Jan Hishmeh (Alfred); her grandchildren, Amanda Jones (Dustin), Josh Jessie (Mary Lou) and Kyle Hishmeh "Makayla"; her great grandchildren, Shea Jones, Payton Jessie and John Jessie; and her pets, Benji and Bella. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
