With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Washington of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Karen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Karen. Though Karen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Augarten (Lee) of Catlettsburg, KY and Lisa Reeves of Russell, KY; her grandchildren, Jonah Stanley, Nick Reeves, Anthony Reeves, Lucas Reeves, Payton Caldwell, Emma Caldwell, Heaven Bownam and Yvonne Augarten; her sisters, Nancy Doerger (Bob) of Cincinnati, OH and Linda Nortan of Ashland, KY.; and her husband Harry Washington.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Kings Way Church (340 Providence Hill Drive, Ashland, KY 41101).
