He is survived by: his wife Janice Sue Kelley Yates; his son Donald Yates II (Lynette) of Ashland, KY; his grandchildren, Caroline Yates, Kyler Yates and Kaden Rogers; his brother Arthur Kelly Yates (Judy) of Flatwoods, KY; his brother-in-law Bill Bowling of Catlettsburg, KY.; and his friend Gary Crawford.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (2409 Center St, Catlettsburg, KY 41129). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
