He is survived by: his wife Carole Cox; his daughter Billie Persinger; his stepdaughters, Brenda Braswell, Sheila Green, Tammy Johnson and Wendy Braswell; his siblings, Sandra Spratley and Jerry Cox; and his grandchildren, Miles Persinger, Katie Braswell, Tyler Green, Gerard Green, Kyanna Johnson, Kindra Looney, Raegan Johnson, Stephen Johnson and John Edward Auville. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
