She was predeceased by: her parent Jerilynn Joy Hensley. She is survived by: her parent Dennie "Dale" Dorsey; her husband Jim Meeks; her children, Meredith Meeks (Matt) of Catlettsburg, KY and Steven Meeks (Alex) of Catlettsburg, KY; her grandchildren, Sadie and Eli Meeks; her siblings, Jeff Dorsey (Stephanie) of Barbourville, WV, Jonathan Dorsey (Courtney) of Huntington, WV, Joy Dorsey of Richmond, KY and Jennifer Dorsey (Jorge); and her brother-in-law Jeffrey Meeks (Marcela) of Atlanta, GA.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, It was Bennita Kaye's wishes that everyone send donations to Christ Temple Medical Mission Fund (Medical Clinic of Zambia) at 2400 Johnstown Road, Huntington, Wv 25701.
