With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelia Roe Carper of Carter, Kentucky, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Curtis and Chloe Alma Lewis Roe; her brother Allan Curtis Roe; and her son-in-law Lloyd Ray "Dunc" Duncan. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Carper; her children, Angie Carper Duncan of Grayson and Kevin Carper (Monica) of Grayson; her grandchildren, Lauren Schmidt (Josh), Macaleb Carper (Shawna) and Tanner Duncan (Emma); her great grandchildren, Jacob Meadows, Maverick Carper, Benjamin Schmidt, Jonathan Schmidt, Liliana Schmidt and Asher Schmidt; her siblings, Laura Kathryn Byrd (Paul) of Grayson, Aleta Daugherty (Jerry) of Lebanon, TN., Bradley Roe (Zelma) of Carter City and Leo Roe (Linda) of Carter City; and her sister-in-law Teresa Ann Roe of Grayson.
