She was predeceased by: her parents, Morton Messer and Pearlie Justice Messer; her husband Bruce Jordan; and her siblings, Bruce Messer, Howard Messer, Elbert Messer, Opal Messer, Betty Carper, Erie Wilburn and Lois Messer.
She is survived by: her sister Letha Carper of Carter City; and her foster sons, Ray and Keith McGranahan of Carter City, KY. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and family.
