She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Anderson and Corine Coghill Anderson; her husband Ben W. Smith, Sr.; her children, Nannette Smith Strickland, Sharlyn Smith and Ben W. Smith, Jr.; her brother Elmer Anderson; her grandson Jason Kirby Dixon; and her great grandchild Madison Kaylynn "Maddie" Dawson.
She is survived by: her son Joe Smith (Connie) of Carrollton, KY. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
