He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse D. Smith and Amanda Chatham Smith; his wife Mary Lee Fox Smith; and his siblings, Howard, Wilbert, Orvan, Donald, Edward Smith, Loetta Helm and Janie Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Kindoll (Tic), Shannon Sparks (Mike) of Carrollton, KY. and Monica Daniel (Mark) of Turners Station, KY; and his siblings, Elmer Smith of Worthville, KY and Grace Banks of Madison, IN.. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one step grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home (809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, KY 41008). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the English Cemetery (491 Carlisle Rd, Carrollton, KY 41008).
