He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Hackett Young; his grandsons, Hunter and Ross; his sister Barbara Morgan; and his parents, Robert H. Young, Sr. and Martha Gullion Young. He is also survived by his 6 children, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
