She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Hewitt and Mary Etta Hewitt; her husband James C Martin; her son Kerry Martin; and her brothers, Stan, David, Claudie B. and Danny Hewitt.
She is survived by: her children, Glennis Marye (Dave) of Bedford, KY, April Martin Weaver of Madison, IN, Tina Martin (Sheila) of Bedford, KY, Jeffrey Martin (Janice) of St. Louis, MO and Anthony Martin (Susan) of Louisville, KY; her siblings, Ruth Proctor of Carrollton, KY, Stella Banks (Steve) of Vevay, IN and Gene Hewitt (Sharon) of Taylorsville, KY.; and her granddaughter Ashley Robinson. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home (809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, KY 41008). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 912 Seminary St, Carrollton, KY 41008.
