She was predeceased by: her husband Freddie Ellis; her parents, Sara Smith and J. C. Smith; and her sisters, Linda and Sally (Carroll Hackett).
She is survived by: her daughter Leigh Ann; her son-in-law Dr. William Gruen; her grandchildren, Lauren, Will and Katie; her brothers, Mike Smith (Cathy) and Joe Smith; her friend Carole Bond Hackett; and her aunt Hazel Jo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home (809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, KY 41008). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
