It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emma Katherine Sturgeon Whitham of Carrollton, Kentucky, who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Sturgeon and Ida Devore Sturgeon (late Leo Glenn Whitham); her stepchildren, Darrell Whitham and Glenna Brooks; and her siblings, Elizabeth Courtney and Charles Sturgeon.

She is survived by: her stepson Charles Leo Whitham (Sue) of Foley, Alabama; her half-sister Betty Sturgeon of Ohio; her great grandchildren, Drew Barron and Luke Barron; and her stepgrandchildren, Shannon Whitham, Collin Whitham, Carmen Whitham, Robert Whitham, Sherry Copeland, Belinda Stroud, Linda Rowlison, Kimberly Brooks and Jennifer Brooks. She is also survived by several step great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
