She is survived by: her children, Rita Ann Wilson of Carrollton and Danny Dale Mefford of Prospect; her parents, Prentice Hicks and Ella Lucas Hicks; and her husband Wiley Thomas Mefford. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
